Scott Aikin is assistant professor of philosophy at Vanderbilt University, where his research focuses on the theory of knowledge, ancient philosophy, informal logic, and the philosophy of religion. He is the author of numerous books and articles, his most recent book is Evidentialism and the Will to Believe (Bloomsbury Academic, 2014).
Goldilocks Naturalism
Naturalism is obviously a philosophical view. It is a view about what is, about how to inquire and what to inquire into, and about what we can meaningfully talk about. Moreover, because of these features, naturalism is also a view about how to do philosophy.
