The first two volumes of his multivolume Abraham Lincoln biography are Lincoln and His World: The Early Years (Stackpole, 2006), covering his birth to his election as a state representative, and Lincoln and His World: Prairie Politician (2008), recounting his public and private life while he served in the state legislature. Volume three is in preparation.
