Jeredith Merrin is the author of two poetry collections: Shift (1996) and Bat Ode (2001), both published by the University of Chicago Press, and her work has appeared in the Yale Review, Southern Review, Hudson Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. She is also the author of An Enabling Humility: Marianne Moore, Elizabeth Bishop, and the Uses of Tradition (1990, Rutgers University Press).
