Henry Morgentaler is a physician who won a tremendous victory this year for reproductive freedom in Canada after a twenty-year battle when the Supreme Court of Canada struck down its restrictive abortion law as unconstitutional. Morgentaler has been active in the Canadian humanist movement for the last twenty-four years and was the first president of the Humanist Association of Canada.
