Harlan Ellison is the author or editor of more than seventy-five books and more than 1700 stories, essays, and articles. He has received more awards in the various genres of imaginative literature than any other living writer. Among his two dozen teleplays was ‘City on the Edge of Forever,’ widely considered the definitive episode of the original Star Trek. In June he received the Distinguished Skeptic Award at the conference of the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal.
