Derek Humphry is the president and chief executive officer of the National Hemlock Society. He is the author of eight books, including Jean’s Way, Let Me Die Before I Wake, and (with Ann Wickett) The Right to Die: Understanding Euthanasia. He is also president of the World Federation of Right-to-Die Societies.
